Bob Neslund has 40 years of retail experience with a consistent record of leading successful businesses in both the United States and Asia Pacific. His professional accomplishments and consulting expertise encompass a broad spectrum of Food/Drug, Hyper/Supermarkets and Convenience Store formats.
Bob is currently Senor Advisor for CCMP Asia, one of the largest and most experienced buyout firms in Asia with $2.7 billion in capital commitments under management. And Managing Director of Scenarion International, offering senior level consulting, marketing and management services for the global marketplace.
He is also a Director for Next Horizon, a China based finance and accounting outsourcing firm. Additionally, Bob participates on several senior advisory boards including Information Resources, leading provider of enterprise market information solutions / services and LTL International, a global export company.
Bob retired in 2002 as Chief Operating Officer of Dairy Farm International, the largest food and drugstore retailer in the Asia Pacific with over 2200 outlets. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors. Previously, Bob held positions as CEO Retail Distribution for David’s Ltd. Australia, providing wholesale service to 2,500 independent retail outlets and responsible for 150 corporate stores; CEO of Acme Markets, Malvern, PA., operating 270 sores in a 4-state area; Senior VP-Marketing/Procurement at H.E. Butt Grocery Company and member of the Managing Board. While there he developed and launched a profitable portfolio of food/drug combo formats with a highly differentiated approach to fresh foods. Bob started his retail career with Jewel Food Stores, Chicago, and held various positions including VP Marketing.
Within the retail industry, Bob has served as a Director of the Food Marketing Institute and active member of CIES; Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Retail Management Association, Chairman of Guangdong Saiyi Convenience Stores, and Chairman of One Resource Group, providing China-based outsourcing.
Bob holds an MBA from Michigan State University and resides in San Antonio, Texas.
